Program

The Conference aims to bring all the stake holders of Ayurveda on a common platform in order to raise public awareness about Ayurveda,   identify obstacles in its wider reach and devise strategies for overcoming the problems.

Sessions

The day long conference envisages three sessions in addition to the inaugural and closing. The topic of each of the three one-and-half hour-long sessions would be introduced through a DVD presentation / key note speaker. Experts from the panel would give their brief remarks; their detailed papers experts would, however, be posted on the website beforehand, allowing interested participants to peruse them before coming to the Conference. Aim would be to have sufficient time in each session for interactive discussions / Questions & comments from the floor.

Experts

Presentation of subjects of the conference and in-depth explanation the underlining issues would be done by a team of experts coming not only from India but from around the world.

Language

English. There would, however, be facility for simultaneous English-Hungarian interpretation.

Exhibitors

There would be facility, free of charge, for both exhibition (of Ayurveda and related areas like pharmaceutical companies, health care providers, wellness industry, hotels, tourism etc) and for live demos (Ayurveda / Yoga etc).   Available space has since been allotted.

Those who would benefit from the Conference include: 1) Ayurveda Practitioners / Naturopaths / Allopathic Doctors / Medical students / Hospitals / Health care professionals 2) Ayurveda exporters and importers 3) Wellness Industry / spas / tourism / travel & tourism professionals

Gala closing

The Closing of the Conference would be with an Indian cultural program.

Documents

A draft recommendation paper ‘on how to promote Ayurveda in times ahead’ is expected to emerge from the conference. Draft of this document would be posted on the website and constantly updated incorporating suggestions which are received from experts and users.
